In 2018, Harley shared details of its strategy through 2022, calling it the “More Roads Lead to Harley-Davidson” growth plan. Within this announcement, they planned to introduce a new modular 500cc to 1250cc middleweight platform of motorcycles, starting with Harley’s first Adventure Touring motorcycle, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250, a 1250cc Custom model and a 975cc Streetfighter model.
It seems they’re keeping on schedule. Harley’s adventure bike, The Pan America, is available for purchase. Now, the Milwaukee Motor company is ready to reveal what we can only assume is an All-New Harley-Davidson Sport Cruiser, the 1250cc Custom. Also powered by their all-new Revolution Max powerplant. This global virtual event called “From Evolution To Revolution” will occur on July 13th at 10 a.m. and is open to the public. (click for free registration)

If the prototype we saw in 2018 is anything like the bike being revealed, it’s a beautiful beast! A low, sporty muscle cruiser stripped down to the things that matter. It’s Sporting a high mounted exhaust, low bars and upsidedown forks. It looks, as billed, set up for power and performance. On July 13th, at 10 a.m., we’ll find out.
Here’s what Harley had to say about the upcoming virtual event.

“Following the successful launch of our first adventure touring motorcycle, the Pan America, we are excited to reveal another all-new motorcycle, built on the Revolution Max platform in the sport segment, showcasing unmatched Harley-Davidson technology, performance and style,” said Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president, and CEO Harley-Davidson.
The reveal event will preview details of the new motorcycle model and will include presentations by Harley-Davidson leadership, product experts and the passionate riders who are developing and bringing to market another powerful new motorcycle coming to Harley-Davidson® dealerships in 2021.
